Master’s Candidate Reception
and Hooding Ceremony

On May 16, 2025 the College of SSIS held its
annual Master’s Candidate Reception and Hooding
Ceremony. Guest Spearker was Devon Hunter, a
graduate candidate from Economics, who was
also the Graduate Dean’s Award Recipient. We
had approximately 66 students graduating from
Anthropology, Economics, Nutrition, Food &
Dietetics, Political Science, Psychology, and Public
Policy & Administration. A highlight of this year was
that Dr. Lisa Bohon’s (PSYC) own daughter Alexandra
Hock graduated with her MS in Psychological
Research, advised by Dr. Casey Knifsend.
